Today, we will announce a new plan that overseas customers can easily experience.

You can experience “Geisha,” a new style of Japonisme plan with the theme of Japan seen from overseas.

This plan is a new plan that allows you to enjoy hair accessories like a geisha and gorgeous kimono.

You can choose your favorite kimono.

We will introduce two special kimonos this time.

We have prepared red and black.

The red color has a cute atmosphere like a maiko and is very gorgeous.

The Japanese flag is a bright red circle on a white background, so it really feels like Japan!

 

The other is a black kimono. It has a chic impression.

The pattern is a crane pattern. It has gold in it, so it is a very auspicious pattern.

All kimono patterns have meanings, but since it is worn at weddings, there are many motifs with auspicious meanings.

 

This time, we have prepared a special hair accessory for this plan.
It is a gorgeous flower hairpin like a maiko or geisha. It is made using a traditional Japanese technique called tsumami-zaiku.

The hairstyle is Japanese hair. This is also a traditional Japanese hairstyle.

Real geishas wear wigs, but maikos wear their own hair.

 

We use the customer’s hair to style this hairstyle, so it will look very natural!

For makeup, we apply a natural-looking foundation and use traditional red eyeshadow.

In the Edo period, the red color of makeup was created using a flower called safflower.

Even today, maikos and geishas use red around the eyes and mouth in their makeup. It is said that red traditionally had the effect of warding off evil.

The use of red gives the makeup a feminine and soft atmosphere.

 

For this Geisha A pre-experience Plan, you can choose one of the Japanese-style booths (gold or blossoms).
In addition to that, this time’s Geisha B pre-experience  Plan will also include shooting with background paper(Black or white).

 

Don’t you think the background paper expresses the unique Japanese sense of wabi-sabi?

The black is cool, and the white is so beautiful it seems like it could be used in a Japanese tea commercial.

 

We will also introduce Japanese-style booths.

The Gold booth.

The Blossoms booth.

Each has its own merits!

If you love cherry blossoms, we recommend the blossoms booth.

In spring, when the cherry blossoms bloom, Kyoto is packed with tourists and it is difficult to take photos, but here you can take photos all year round!

This plan does not require much preparation time, so you can finish in about two and a half hours.

After the treatment, you will be given a cleansing treatment so you can go sightseeing.

We also have hairbrushes, hairdryers, lotions and milky lotions available.
